You’ve probably heard about the Trump Administration sending the United States military to the border. This isn’t the first time a presidential administration has staged a political spectacle in our backyard. 

While it isn’t the first time, we can not stay silent or allow it to become normalized. Because it is not normal and it never has been.

The border is our home.
